Noah’s Ark Preschool is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, existing to serve the children and families of the congregation and community in a Christian environment. While striving to meet individual needs for mental, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth, we seek to develop each child’s self image, to encourage his/her interpersonal relationship with others, and to teach the child about the love of God for all people.”

Field Trips

We take trips to the library, the fire station and many other places.

Social Skills

We have many opportunities to develop social skills and make friends. We learn through play and interactions.

Biblical Foundation

As a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, the Bible and Christian faith is foundational to our instruction.

We love keeping people in the loop and informed.

Director Kim Masters

Noah’s Ark Preschool is an outreach program of First Presbyterian Church. We offer a nurturing and loving environment that strives to meet individual needs of students by fostering academic, social, spiritual, emotional and physical growth. We have classes for children ages 3 months – K4 with 3 and 5 day classes. Students attend weekly Music, creative movement and Spanish classes. Students who graduate from Noah’s Ark Preschool are well prepared to enter Kindergarten, having learned the social skills and educational curriculum needed to succeed.

Each Wednesday at Noah’s Ark, Chapel is held for the three and four year-olds. The four year-olds serve as acolytes, carrying the American flag and Bible to the altar. A Chapel lesson is presented, ending in prayer that the students repeat. The children each bring a canned food item to donate to the Greenwood Food Bank as their offering.

Noah’s Ark Pledge

I am a student at Noah’s Ark Preschool.
I am one of God’s children.
I will try to make good choices.
I will make it a good day for myself and others.

If you have registered your child for the school year and decide not to send him or her until later in the year, you will be responsible for paying monthly tuition until your child begins our program. A spot is being held for your child, and other students who may wish to start immediately would not be given a chance for a spot if the class is full.

If your child has an extended absence due to illness, hospitalization, traveling, etc., you will be required to pay the full monthly tuition. Your child’s spot is being held for his or her return, and the monthly tuition has already been allocated for payroll and operational expenses. Should extenuating circumstances occur, the Noah’s Ark Board will review the case and decide regarding tuition at their discretion.

If you feel it necessary to withdraw your child from our program, you must give at least one month’s notice. If a decision to withdraw is made at the end of a month, you will be responsible for paying for the next month’s tuition.
